Try just to find such films which catch your attention.
To save your precious time I’ll give you only a piece of advice. Start from watching a part of the movie, then read the text in this book and thereupon return to watching the same part. The more time you spend on one movie the better result you have. Every next one will seem to you easier and easier.
ОФИЦЕРы (Officers) 1971
Officers is a Soviet drama film, shot by director Vladimir Rogovy. The premiere of the movie took place in the Soviet Union July 26, 1971. At the box office the film attracted about 53.4 million viewers.
The film depicts the fate of two friends – Alexey Trofimov and Ivan Varavva – traced for many years. Sins the 20s till the 70s they have impetuous life. Three generations of Trofimov family shares all ups and downs of the country.
The film «Officers» tells not only about the war times or the military men. It shows the life of those years. The picture is simply permeated with the spirit of the last century, a little ridiculous, a little naive, but how sincere and pure everything was!
Respect for a woman, officer honor, female loyalty, male friendship, unrequited love, human suffering, wiped out loved ones… An infinite number of colors of life are intertwined in one ninety-minute masterpiece picture.
