In Japan near a high mountain and by the blue ocean a little boy was sound asleep. His name was Joji-chan, and he was dreaming about riding on the back of a white elephant.
His sister, Koko-chan, was already up and dressed. When she saw Joji-chan still in bed she shouted, “Wake up, sleepy-head! Today we are going to the CIRCUS!”
Joji-chan was awake in a flash and jumped out of bed.
He dressed in such a hurry that he almost put his pants on upside down. Kokochan helped him fold his bedding and neatly pile it in a cupboard behind the sliding doors.
