•Fill Formatting Only. Fills only cell formatting for the selected cells. Cell values are ignored.
To change the data formatting within a cell.
1.Left click inside the cell.
2.Right click and select Data Format.
3.Select from the Data type list.
A long table can be broken into 2 or more separate tables using the Table Breaking Grip.
1.Click on the table border line.
2.Click on the Table Breaking Grip.
3.Move the cursor up to the cell location for the Table Break and left click.
You will notice that the main and sub headings are not repeated on the second part of the broken table, you can change this in the Properties dialog box.
To add the headings on both tables.
1.Click on the table border line. (if it is already selected as above, skip this instruction)
2.Right click and select Properties.
3.Scroll down to Table Breaks then left click on No next to the Repeat top labels field, this will enable the drop-down list.
4.Select Yes from the list.
5.Both tables will now have the main and sub headings included.
6.Press the Esc key to deselect the table. The broken table should now look similar to the image below.
You can also change the distance between the broken tables by changing the Spacing in the Properties dialog box. You can choose whether to have them closer together or further apart.
There are also many other changes you can make to the broken table, a detailed description is shown below:
Enabled
If this option is set to Yes you can break the table, if it is set to No you cannot break the table.
Direction
Places the broken table to the left, right or down from the original table.
Repeat top labels
You can choose to have the top labels shown on all the broken tables or just the first part.
Repeat bottom labels
If your table has bottom labels you can choose to have the bottom labels shown on all the broken tables or just the first part.
