FOREWORD
This book is written to prove how God can work in someone’s life and make a difference in them. Gloria shares her testimony of the supernatural answers to prayer in ministry to others especially to those who have served in the military. In her communication with others she has seen many saved and healed. She has brought the message of healing to those in captivity, their places of bondage and watches God set them free. The author brings the message to all those wanting to make a change, seeking true life, and the desire to walk in that truth and light. Her desire is to see the world won for Christ and experience faith, hope and love in the arms of Jesus. To walk away from sin and surrender your life totally to the Lord is the only path to reality in this world. Her message in this book entreats you to immerse yourself in seeking to know God in all His power and glory thereby, making yourself ready for heaven. God is in the business of transforming lives and true transformation happens only when we take our first step towards God. It’s in this new creation with Christ all glory, honor and power will be given to the Father.

PREFACE
This book contains the different stages of my life. Not many women went to college back in the 1950’s so I relied on the skills I learned from graduating high school to make a living after a contested divorce. I never took a class in writing, so please overlook the mistakes in grammar as I am writing this as an average mother telling my story of what happened through those learning years that brought the faith connection I found with Jesus Christ. It is this intimate love story that I have for the Lord which helped me to raise three loving, beautiful and well educated children. His love sustained me with wisdom, faith and strength which encouraged me to give them a strong, solid and safe environment without a father who did not want to be involved.
If parts of my life come across in a negative way, between husbands and family, it is the truth and writing it down was not very easy to do. It’s very difficult to put a positive attitude on that era of existence. Many tears have been shed as I wrote my story; as the memories came alive all over again. They say the truth hurts and it does but it goes even deeper than that. When so much negativity happens, it affects so many areas of one’s life; including security, trusting people, relationships and rejection. Today as a retired woman, writing my first book, I am still working through parts of my life to achieve the goal the Lord has for me.
I have found the peace that I live in now, through mercy, grace and repentance which comes from knowing our Savior.

To Brother William who I call John the Revelator the Second, your encouragement, pastoral growth and friendship has helped me to discover within myself the areas in my life that God wanted changed so His work could be done within me. I am so honored and blessed to have this wonderful Man of God in my home for church services and meetings.
To the women who came with me to pray at the hospital over my heroes that came back from the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars wounded. Thank you Regina Thornton, Bobbie Conway, Johnie Lamb and Jean Bonavito for taking your personal time, your love for God, our country and military to let them know how much you love and appreciated their braveness. You gave me great encouragement on this part of my journey with Jesus as we shared our faith together. God Bless You All!!!

Mary came into my life in the late 1980’s through a co-worker and Christian friend, Debbie Schweffler, when I was working at AT&T in White Plains, New York. Debbie told me her Aunt Mary was an Evangelist and also a Prophetess and asked me if I would be interested in going to a meeting that was going to be held at her mother’s house, Gretta Perrotta. When I first met Mary I saw an outgoing happy woman who loved people. She was probably five feet tall but oh so mighty with the Word of God in her spirit. She looked at me and said “Blessings, so many blessings coming your way.” Having great knowledge of God truly helped to change my life; understanding about God’s grace and mercy plus so much more that you will read in the following pages. From that day when I first met Mary, I would not miss a meeting as she gave me so much encouragement and support. Her faith never staggered. Our thinking was so similar which gave us a spiritual connection. When I moved to Florida we would talk on the phone and she would give me messages from the Lord that helped me so much when I was going through some very tough health problems.
I still can hear her hearty laugh. She was such a delightful person and her sense of humor will remain in my heart forever. You are so missed Mary by all who have had the honor of knowing you here on earth. I know in my heart you are now in a most beautiful heavenly mansion and also those around you are enjoying your wonderful free spirit. I am so grateful that our heavenly Father put you in my life and I appreciate and thank you for all your prayers and teachings which became a great part of helping me become the woman of God that I am. I am so looking forward to the day when we meet again.
Chapter 1
MY FIRST DREAM
(Sometime in 1972)
I woke up one morning remembering this dream. It was so clear and vivid in my mind. My three children and I were driving down the road in a station wagon. They were all sitting in the very back of the car where the storage area is next to the door. All of a sudden, the back door opened up and the dream ended.
