Covenants are agreements made between God Almighty and man that are conditional or unconditional.

The prophets looked forward to this new covenant that would fulfill the old sacrificial agreement (Jeremiah 31:31-34), and John the Baptist called Jesus “the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29)

2 Timothy 3:10-14
10. But you know from watching me that I am not that kind of person. You know what I believe and the way I live and what I want. You know my faith in Christ and how I have suffered. You know my love for you, and my patience.
11. You know how many troubles I have had as a result of my preaching the Good News. You know about all that was done to me while I was visiting in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra, but the Lord delivered me.
12. Yes, and those who decide to please Christ Jesus by living godly lives will suffer at the hands of those who hate him. 13. In fact, evil men and false teachers will become worse and worse, deceiving many, they themselves having been deceived by Satan.
14. But you must keep on believing the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know that you can trust those of us who have taught you.

Paul admonishes the elect believers, his Christian audience, that to keep away from those that have a form of godliness, but deny the power of the Lord Jesus Christ God incarnate redemptive saving, sanctifying work at Calvary.
This great work empowers us to live righteous, holy free from the bondage of sin living from Earth to Heaven.
Paul uses the godliness and correct living initiated and promoted by the New Testament New Covenant Gospel as the standard for Christian Holy living.
Paul lets everyone know that His teachings are in accordance with that Holy all powerful New Testament agreement.
With the New Covenant Gospel established by Jesus Christ God incarnate, both ends of the agreement are kept by Jesus Christ God incarnate. Through this New Covenant the conditions for the salvation of his elect believers are met once and forevermore.
Paul’s way of life is absolutely Christ like, his purpose is to preach the Gospel, and live a holy respectful life under the glorious sovereign care of the Lord.
Paul’s faith is the new covenant faith established by Jesus Christ God incarnate, our Lord Savior Redeemer at Calvary.
Paul’s patience, love and endurance, is a product of the indwelling Holy Spirit Almighty’s continual influence upon, and within his sanctified life.
The Holy Spirit was sent from Jesus Christ God incarnate by whom the agreement of works are kept, for the salvation of elect believers through grace alone by faith plus nothing.
Paul’s way of life is absolutely Christ like, his purpose is to preach the Gospel, and live a holy respectful life under the glorious sovereign care of the Lord.

The Old Testament presented the agreement of perfect obedience before God Almighty under the Law,
while the New Testament ushered in the agreement of grace (unmerited favor) from God Almighty, given to save disobedient, sinful mankind through Jesus Christ God incarnate our Lord and Savior forevermore.

Psalm 19:1-13
1 How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory! How plainly it shows what he has done! 2 Each day announces it to the following day; each night repeats it to the next.
3 No speech or words are used, no sound is heard; 4 Yet their message goes out to all the world and is heard to the ends of the earth.
God made a home in the sky for the sun; 5 It comes out in the morning like a happy bridegroom, like an athlete eager to run a race.
6 It starts at one end of the sky and goes across to the other. Nothing can hide from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect; it gives new strength. The commands of the Lord are trustworthy, giving wisdom to those who lack it.
8 The laws of the Lord are right, and those who obey them are happy. The commands of the Lord are just and give understanding to the mind.
9 Reverence for the Lord is good; it will continue forever. The judgements of the Lord are just; they are always fair.
10 They are more desirable than the finest gold; they are sweeter than the purest honey. 11 They give knowledge to me, your servant; I am rewarded for obeying them.
12 No one can see his own errors; deliver me, Lord, from hidden faults! 13 Keep me safe, also, from wilful sins; don’t let them rule over me. Then I shall be perfect and free from the evil of sin.

Under the New Testament new agreement, the indwelling Holy Spirit strengthens an enlightens Christians, elect believers, so that we can absorb His wonderful life giving Holy Scripture teachings.
Because of the Holy Spirit and its indwelling effectual influence, we are all about correcting ourselves and others, as we continue under this wonderful supernatural salvation experience throughout our earthly existence.
Through our indwelling Holy Spirit filled dedicated lives we live, we are always about meeting His wonderful almighty approval according to the Holy Scriptures, the very dictates of the LORD, as we head into our predestined eternal home.
We must be always found moving at full stride toward that higher calling of moral perfection that is found in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior
