      but you made me feel

      some sort of way

and it was good to feel

      in such a fleeting moment

      so, maybe in another life

      I’ll stay

How could I not want to hold your hand?

The way I catch you staring at me

      and quickly turning away

makes me want my fingers between yours

to let you know I’ll stay

And I don’t mind if you like

      to admire me from afar

so long as you’ll give me the blessing

      of exploring who you are

Because there are a billion and one

stories of people around the world

but I’d like to hear just some of yours

maybe make some with you, too

But first, before we begin our journey

on a road neither of us have taken

      I need to ask you

      can I hold your hand?

To let you know I’ll stay

      saudade

      It's more than just

      I miss you

      or I need you here

      because no one word that

      can describe the feeling how

      I am

      without

      a drop

      of you

      a starbucks in framingham

Got lost in your eyes again

      trust me, I wasn’t trying

you got lost back, I saw,

      don’t deny, I see you’re lying

      endlessly frustrated by what

      we insist isn’t a game

but how you feel about me

trust me, I feel the same

      but regardless of the time

or what is written in the sand

all I’ll ever ask of you

is the feeling of your hand

      with mine

      recklessly

I would travel a universe with you

      of mountains, plains, and seas

      and never once doubt

there was a better place to be

Never have I felt so fearless

and yet in so much danger

      that I could be

      recklessly

      smitten with you

      umi

      I stared out at Sea

      content with what it gave

      its waves, its ripples

      tempest and shine

      and all the while

I gave it only my time

      To appreciate its

      natural forces

      of its everything

      of all moments

      And I did not seek

      to conquer the Sea

      nor did it seek

      to swallow me

      But rather, we enjoyed

      each other in the little

      imperfections

      that we reveal

      in the surface

      Because all it took

      the other to witness

      was ignorance of a clock

      so every moment was perfect

      quiet galaxy

      In her eyes

      I see whole worlds

      stars, many far

      but so tangible

      an entire universe

      resting deep in her blues
