degree in Industrial Engineering followed by a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in Seattle.
With the downturn of the Seattle economy in the mid-seventies, Chander found himself looking for a new job. He turned adversity into opportunity by finding work on the Alyeska Pipeline Project, which was being built over 800 miles of Alaska wilderness from Prudoe Bay to Valdez. This was a turning point for him as the high monetary compensation he received for his hard work provided him with the capital to finance future real estate and other business ventures.
Chander eventually returned to Seattle and Boeing, and for the next 25 years, he taught himself about real estate by buying and selling many properties in various parts of metropolitan Seattle. Most were multi-family dwellings such as apartment buildings. Chander made a lot of money, and lost some as well – it was all a process of learning and education in real life. But throughout
all his experiences he continued to study how real estate could turn a profit for its owner while providing good housing for citizens. In order to expand his educational career and skills, Chander decided to join his hero, Donald Trump, by joining Donald Trump University and study how to profit from Real Estate Investing. Chander received a Certificate of Accomplishment in 2009. Among his many ventures, Chander was the CEO and Financial Officer for Westwood Travel, a travel agency in West Seattle. This agency was successful for over 22 years.
Over the years, Chander became quite an expert on the Residential Landlord-Tenant Act as it applies to citizens of King County, State of Washington. This law governs all Rental Agreements and Leases between the landlord and the tenant. Chander simplified this difficult to understand law and its application to the Eviction Process into one simple guidebook: Real Estate 101 - Evictions. This book has been published and is available in the Seattle Metropolitan area.
Chander has found success in a number of careers including aeronautical engineering, travel agency ownership and management, and multi-family apartment properties ownership, management, and instituting improvements to increase value. Among his achievements in real estate investment are transforming 3 struggling complexes into multimillion-dollar enterprises.
Although Chander is now retired from Boeing, he continues to manage, improve his properties and trade them for more profitable ones. In his spare time, Chander being an excellent skier, tries to ski every major ski destination in North America, Europe and even his native country, India (Gulmarg in Kashmir). He is also a scuba diver, hang glider pilot, avid world traveler, and photographer.
Due to the excitement of his life, Chander is now
utilizing his skills as writer and author to write
an autobiography of his many life adventures.

Kidd and ski with him. The final result was the creation of this magnificent biography. Billy Kidd has written 2 books, titled: Ski in 6 Days which was published in 1975 and Billy Kidd Ski Racing which was published in 1984.

Taj Mahal, Agra
The Taj Mahal is a magnificent monument built by Mogul Emperor, Shah Jehan, in honor of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, after she died. This monument is in the city of Agra, a few hours drive from Delhi. It is recognized as one
of the most beautiful buildings ever built. It is situated on the banks of the Jumna River. Because of the Mogul Emperor’s Persian heritage, this building has Persian art everywhere in the building, including the design of the monument and Urdu inscriptions. You can see how the visitors enjoy their visit in these pictures.
Sitting in front of the Taj Mahal is this picture of Chander and Rekha, sister- in-law (Jogi’s wife), sitting by the lake and fountains with the TAJ MAHAL behind them. All the grounds are immaculately maintained throughout the year. There are also monkeys and deer that live in the forests adjoining the
monument and they are grazing in the gardens of the monument. It is a beautiful sight.
Roaming the streets of
New Delhi
These pictures are taken roaming the
streets of New Delhi. There is the statute of Hanuman, recognized as “the monkey king.” There is a highway overpass going by this temple where the statue is located. It is so impressive that it had to be included.
In order to honor Hanuman and get closer to the statue, Chander walked around the street corner and crossed the street. To his surprise, he saw this monkey just sitting on the sidewalk near this motorbike. He knew the bike did not belong to it, so he decided to see what it was about to do.
