Hey, everyone, I’m Kamo, and while I’m an illustrator by trade, I’m also a mad doodler.
My approach to drawing is simple: If you know the basics, you can draw anything. Take a lion, for example. Make a circle, add the ears, face and mane and-voila!-you’re done. It really is that easy to get started. Before you know it, you’ll be doodling everywhere with a style all your own.
So how are you going to unleash these cute creations? Some people think pens are too unwieldy, that it’s too hard to control the flow of the ink and the size of the line. Nonsense! Use whatever instrument you like best. Pens are a perfect choice.
Head to a stationery store-or wherever you buy your art supplies-and try out a few different kinds, until you find the ones that are just right for you.
