Most loved for his humanity, Dr. Fuller is often called “The Planet’s Friendly Genius” and “Grandfather of the Future.” In 1982 John Denver wrote and recorded the song What One Man Can Do, a dedication to Dr. Fuller.
Pictured above is Fuller’s geodesic dome, the U.S. Pavilion at the 1967 World’s Fair—Expo 67—in Montreal, Canada.
This book, Second Chance, begins with my trip to Expo 67. I hitchhiked from New York to Montreal to see Fuller’s dome… and to see the future.
A heartfelt thank you to Mike Sullivan, CEO of The Rich Dad Company, and Shane Caniglia, President of The Rich Dad Company, for cleaning up the past and taking Rich Dad into the future.
And for giving The Rich Dad Company its Second Chance.
A special “thank you” to the team at Rich Dad for supporting Mike and Shane through times that tested our souls.

Special thanks to Mona Gambetta. Without Mona, this book and most Rich Dad books would not exist. Mona is like the Eveready Energizer Bunny, consistently going far beyond the call of duty, 24/7. If Rich Dad was a military organization, Mona would be awarded the Silver Star for valor and courage under fire.
I know Mona joins me in acknowledging and thanking the Plata Publishing team as well as everyone at The Rich Dad Company. Each of them, in some way, has contributed to and supported this book project. Special thanks to Rhonda Hitchcock, Steve King, Greg Arthur, Dave Leong, Jake Johnson, Kellie Coppola, Garrett Sutton, and Darrin Moore.
To my sweetheart Kim, for being a rich woman in love, brains, and beauty… and for being the quiet power at the heart of The Rich Dad Company.
And of course, to the millions of people like you, from all over the world, who read the Rich Dad books and play and teach our games. Thank you for being the engine of Rich Dad and for being a part of our global mission:
To Elevate the Financial Well-being of Humanity
