You are a person!
This phrase is just a reworked «You are a citizen, and you are not a plebeian, so get bread and circuses.» This modern phrase is a democratic cliché. Today, there seem to be no slaves around, slavery has been abolished everywhere. Perhaps this phrase allows all impoverished people to be proud, they can die with their heads held high.

This does not mean that all these people are humiliated at the moment, although everything is possible. If people are lied to from all sides and especially the authorities are lying to them, then they will look for an outlet in social networks and there they find people more stupid than themselves. This saves them from depression. But populist politicians take advantage of such sentiments, they run up, sneak up on the crowd and start entertaining it.

All countries where conflicts occur today are traditional, semi-traditional, or latently traditional. These are countries where they do not know who the elite is today.
