Joyce and Gloria taught that leadership begins with personal integrity, honesty, and the desire to do the right thing. Their lives were an example of the kind of leader and manager nursing (and we all) really need. We ask you, the next generation of nursing, to be more like Dr. Ellis and Dr. Smokvina.
