one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

       Matthew 7:8

Recognizing and welcoming My voice is essential if you are to continue in this new way. You still have a strong and over-riding mind which presents problems in following through with the path I have set before you. Take seriously, My son, your need to fight the distractions, for they rob you of much. Yes, you hear My voice, but you are still at the kindergarten level in this, so don’t think more highly of yourself than you ought to think.

       March Seventeenth

Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.

       Matthew 8:8b

This is a time of healing. It is a time for the repairing of breaches. Some of them have already begun to be repaired. Wholeness waits for My restoring grace. Marvel not that it is so, for I the Lord have promised and I fulfill My word. Be keenly aware of My leadings, for you will find some of them strange. Your fears can be conquered if you will practice giving thanks. Concentrate on the reasons you have to be thankful when fear presents the uncertainties of what might be. You do well to be thankful!

       March Nineteenth

Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing; go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” At that saying his countenance fell, and he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.

       Mark 10:21–22

My child, do not close your ears and your mind to My voice out of fear of what I shall say to you! Have I not shown you My mercy at all times? There is no “unhappy surprise” awaiting you in what I shall say. My desire for you is to outgrow the underlying fear and nameless dread which has plagued you all your life. Your sins are forgiven—all of them—by My shed blood on the Cross. There is no condemnation awaiting you, even though you will need to confess and repent of any sin I convict you of. I say to you what I said in the Gospel again and again: Your sins are forgiven! It is not My will that you linger in morbid concentration on your wrongness. Rather, My heart is gladdened by your thanksgiving, praise and joy—and
