16. INRO. Phoenix. Signed: Kajikawa. The phoenix is seen flying over the branches of a paulownia tree and a rivulet. Some of the leaves and parts of the bird are done in gold hyomon technique, the remainder being in gold takamakie. The rivulet is done in togidashi and the adjacent shore in kiri-gane.
