      The Home tab appears at first.

      Note: If the browser window is narrow, the tabs appear across the top of the screen without their icons.

      

Click Personal info (Snapshot of personal info icon.).

      The Personal Info screen appears.

      

Click Add a photo to personalize your account.

      The Select Profile Photo dialog box opens.

      dgb.eps You can click Your photos and select an existing profile photo or a photo stored in Google Photos. Go to step 11.

      

To upload a photo from your computer, click Upload Photos.

      

Click Select a photo from your computer, and then follow the prompts.

      007.eps You can click Left (Snapshot of radio button icon.) or Right (Snapshot of lock screen icon) to rotate the photo 90°.

      008.eps Select the area of the photo you want to use.

      009.eps You can click Add Caption and type a caption.

      010.eps Click Set as profile photo.

      The photo appears on the Photo row.

      011.eps Click the next item you want to change, follow the prompts to change it and to decide who can see the change, and then click Save.

      For example, click Gender to display the Gender screen. You can then click Female (Snapshot of radio button icon. changes to Snapshot of radio button icon.), click Male (Snapshot of radio button icon. changes to Snapshot of radio button icon.), click Rather not say (Snapshot of radio button icon. changes to Snapshot of radio button icon.), or click Add custom gender (Snapshot of new file icon.) and specify a custom gender.

      TIP

      What are my choices for sharing my personal info?

      The Google Account screens offer three choices for information such as your birthday and your gender. Click Only you (Snapshot of lock screen icon) to prevent others from seeing the information. Click Your organization (Snapshot of your organization icon.) to let people in your organization see the information but prevent anyone beyond the organization from seeing it. Click Anyone (Snapshot of sharing icon.) to allow anyone to view the information.

      Install and Run a Google Workspace App on Android

      To install a Google Workspace app on Android, tap Play Store (Snapshot of play store icon.) on the Home screen or in the App Drawer to open the Play Store app. Tap Search and type your search term; this example uses google docs. Tap the appropriate search result (A) to display the list of matching apps. Identify the appropriate app, and then tap Install (B). When installation completes, you can run the app by tapping Open on the app’s entry in the Play Store app or by tapping the app’s icon, such as Google Docs (Snapshot of document icon.), in the App Drawer.

      With the app open, follow the prompts to sign in and authenticate yourself. You can then browse your documents, and tap the document you want to open (C); alternatively, tap New (Snapshot of new icon.; D) to start creating a new document in the app.

      The app opens the document, and you can view and edit the document. In Google Docs, tap Edit (Snapshot of edit icon.; E) to switch from
